It hasn’t been a month since Marisa Abela married Jamie Bogyo, but the actor is already ditching bridal white for a sleek McQueen suit. “It really was the greatest day of our lives, so I think it took me a good week to stop just smiling like an idiot,” Abela tells Vogue. The pair, however, are straight back to work, with hopes for a honeymoon over the holidays. “We got to celebrate our one-week anniversary with dinner in London, and then Jamie headed down to Chichester to start teaching his debut play as a writer!”

While Abela likes to keep it classic and comfortable, she does gravitate toward clothing “with a splash of something to make it feel unique or sexy or playful.” So, for the spring 2026 McQueen show during Paris Fashion Week, the Industry actor felt right at home in her look. “I wore a black suit with an external corset. Anyone who knows me knows that I love great tailoring as well as something that leans slightly into the vampiric,” she says. “So…bingo.”

As for what she’s eyeing from the runway, Abela was drawn to look 10: an off-white corseted midi dress with lace-up detailing and ruched cups. “So hot and soooo well made,” she says. Okay, maybe that isn’t all. “All the jackets too…it was incredible.”

Abela and her girlfriends ended the evening with dinner at Ojii. While she is hard at work, she has her Paris itinerary down to a science. “I like to jump around all the different neighborhoods. A morning window shopping on Rue Saint-Honoré, lunch in Le Marais with some vintage shopping after, a museum. Evening in the 6th,” she says. “Heaven.”

Below, Marisa Abela brings Vogue along to the McQueen spring 2026 show in Paris.
