Fall is just around the corner (officially, tomorrow!), and A-listers are entering the season in style. Whether they were out on the red carpets in their finest formal wear, or hitting the streets on their days off in more casual ensembles, this week’s best dressed stars crafted outfits that were refined, modern, and visually interesting. Of course, there were plenty of events for them to do so, given we are right in the middle of Fashion Month—and the Hollywood premieres never stop coming.

The week’s more off-duty moments may have been casual—but they were still incredibly sartorially inspiring. Take Dua Lipa, who took a break from touring in New York to step out in a cropped knit sweater and embroidered Gucci skirt. Margot Robbie also ventured out in the city wearing a saucy Christopher Esber leather two-piece set. The two stars proved they truly understand New Yorker style—which is turning even a walk around the block into a fashion moment.

The more formal hits, meanwhile, included Kate Middleton in her butter-yellow lace Phillipa Lepley evening coat. She wore it for the U.S. State Banquet with the Trumps at Windsor Castle, complete with her regal Lover’s Knot Tiara. In New York again, Cardi B delivered a different kind of evening look: She delivered bold maternity style in a black lace catsuit, complete with a pearl bra worn overtop. Like Rihanna often does, Cardi proved that mom-to-be style can still be cool and risk-taking.

Which were your favorite celebrity looks this week? Vote below, and check back on Friday to see who Vogue readers crowned best dressed.
