It’s been a big year for Sakura, Kim Chaewon, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae of Le Sserafim. On the heels of their latest EP, Hot, the girl group has embarked on their first worldwide tour, performing some of their catchiest singles in the hottest of fits.

For the tour’s North American leg, which kicked off at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, this week, the girls knew what the fans wanted. After performing at the MTV VMAs in Elmont, New York, last year, returning to the tri-state area felt like a must. “We felt the incredible energy of the crowd and knew we had to come back,” explained Sakura.

Preparing for the tour meant both building up their stamina—the group’s workouts often go viral—and staying closely connected. “We shout out our team chant before we go on stage,” said Kazuha. “It almost feels like all five of our energies are joining forces to help us focus even more and perform at our best.”

And then there was the matter of their looks. As Eunchae, the youngest member of the group, explains: “Since our setlist is quite long and diverse, we aimed to showcase outfits that best capture and express each move.” Le Sserafim also collaborated with the beloved New York brand Guizio to create a small capsule collection that launched just a few days prior to the tour. Many of the pieces incorporate a light blue shade—the group’s official color.

Below, Le Sserafim takes us through a day in their life on tour.
