Amidst her Caught Stealing press tour, Zoë Kravitz has embraced ’90s minimalism at every turn: threadbare tank tops with low-waisted trousers, and silk slips galore. Now, she’s nodding to another ’90s icon: her father, Lenny Kravitz.
Today in New York City, the junior Kravitz swapped her broderie anglaise dresses for a navy blue suit, pairing a two-button blazer and slouchy trousers with an untucked white button-up with an exaggerated lapel. All aboard the flip-flop trend, she accessorized with a pair of black thong sandals, along with some wraparound sunglasses, and a thick gold pinkie ring.
This isn’t the first time Kravitz and her stylist, Danielle Goldberg, have embraced nonchalant suiting on her press tour. Earlier this month, for an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, she opted for a cropped black waistcoat and low-slung pinstripe trousers, styled with a bandana headscarf and a Jessica McCormack diamond pendant choker.

Her father is also a fan of sexy suiting, pairing statement diamond necklaces with waistcoats, and impenetrable shades. He’s also a flip-flop enthusiast, though we have yet to see him pair it with his suits. While Zoë Kravitz seems to be taking fashion cues from her dad, maybe Lenny has something to learn from her, too.
