Charli XCX Jets Off Just Hours After Wedding

The British pop icon recently married her longtime partner, The 1975 drummer and DH2 label founder George Daniel. Charli joined the ranks of chic Vivienne Westwood brides, and showed off a chunky platinum wedding band alongside her diamond solitaire engagement ring. Charli, being a trend setter and early adopter even amid her own nuptials, pre-empts the growing interest in chunkier styles of wedding rings among young brides.

“We’re seeing a clear rise in requests for more unique, design-forward wedding bands that contrast with the engagement ring,” Laura Vann, founder of Laura Vann Jewelry, previously told Vogue. “Brides today are looking for pieces that feel personal, and are less interested in conventional matching sets.”

Her flowers, too, were fit for a modern bride; a chic, wild bouquet with locally grown flowers that included Hibiscus, Cosmos, and Dahlias by one of the London fashion set’s favored florists, Hamish Powell.
